This week I was lucky to acquire 40+ pieces of this lovely hand painted set. There are bowls, plates, platers, etc. All are signed by the artist L. McLaughlin (although some of them don't quite look like this name). The majority of the pieces carry Bavaria, Czech, Limoges, etc. marks. They are decorated with pale pink and medium pink rose-like flowers with detailed backgrounds. Below you will find a description of the piece and below that the story of these decorated pieces done by such groups as The Wednesday Evening Girls! I will be listing these pieces just as quickly as I can! This is a gorgeous German blank Wall Pocket, hand painted by an American artist. This is the first Wall Pocket that I have ever come across. It measures 5" tall and 3" at it's widest. It has a pretty gold ruffle type design at the top edge. It is impressed "Germany, 3929. (or it may be a 3829)". It is signed by the painter. It is in excellent condition.
