Jessie Grimes was located in the San Francisco Bay area in the 40's & 50's, there is not a lot known of her. She did produce quality figurines. This little boy and girl figurines are one example. The boy measures 6 1/2" tall, the girl 6 1/4" tall. Both are dressed in blue and white. The boy is in excellent condition with only some very small spots of fine crazing. The girl, however, has been repaired where her legs meet her body. This can only be seen when you look upward from the bottom and the usual fine crazing. Both are signed "Jessie Grimes, California". A very nice addition to a California Pottery collection!
